Hello,

I have been a member on this site for a few years, but lately I notice that at peak hours the video players basically don't work. They are super laggy, freeze constantly and takes an entirety to buffer. It's frustrating to see video players on this site being even slower than on third party sites and I am actually paying? Has anyone else been experiencing these issues and is anything being done to remedy them? I don't how much longer I am willing to continue paying money for a broken product...

it's always been that for me. no issues in the early mornings. but it's because CR videos don't buffer 1 second ever that peak hours freeze alot.

and you betcha something is being done, CR is working hard to to ignore the issue or tell you that it's divine intervention(that you need to clear your cache when you don't at all).

only reason i'm paying is to support the creators of these shows, even if CR has a horrid way of ignoring their own issues.

I have seen many reports of playback issues such as yours and in an attempt to remedy them I made an alternate, non-flash player. It is in the form of a chrome extension, and while it lacks some of the features like chromecast support and softsubs, it has most of everything else. If you want to give it a try, you can find it here: hls.beardfist.net
