I just finished watching it and a few things had me going "WTF?"

1. They cut out the battle where Gato launches in the HLV, that was a decent fight.
2. Kelly? Why bother showing him for a few moments if him and Kou weren't going to fight? The whole Kelly incedent was a growth expeience for Kou's character, so why cut it?
3. Burning's death? Another important event skipped.

Did this movie add anything new? I didn't notice anything that jumped out at me...

Well I didn't like 0083 as much to begin with.

The mobile suits and animation were awsome.

The characters themselves.........not so much

Never seen it, but America's #1 or #2 expert on Gundam found it a total disappointment. I personally liked 0083, but from what I've heard of the movie, it is best to avoid.

They skipped THAT much?! The incident with Kelly was like one of the keystones of 0083. That's like cutting out the Solomon massacre....And, I seriously almost cried when Burning died. He was almost as cool as Roy Focker. xD

Another little Rant from me....Just gotta get it out.

The Nina x Gato was done even poorer in this. Like they cut out the part where in the Kelly fight she's all like "Kelly! Stop it you're just like Gato" (or something like that) so we at least had a hint that they knew each other in the series but all we have to go on in the movie is her edgy behaviour when she's talking to Kou and the subject of Gato comes up. Even in the opening narration, she says "Even I'd heard of him" (meaning Gato), like they were a couple, she'd done more than heard of him...Why not admit it then? It would make that plothole less annoying for me...Agh!

It's funny how most of the role model/ sempai figures never manage to make it past the half way mark in alot of series.

Focker, Lockon, Hughes, the list goes on.

Getting back on topic.

Plot was horrible; the 'technical manual' on 0083 showed it a whole lot better than either the series or the movie.

(Personally, the 'technical manual' on 0083 did the series more justice than the movie EVER could)

No IDEA what 'technical manual' I'm talking about? Tell me and I'll try my best to explain
