So two emails were sent to me this morning, one from [email protected], and one from [email protected] The one from bouncer had the normal subject of what deals there are, but reply had a subject of "Huge Savings TODAY on The Latest Anime Collectibles!" Both had to do with store deals, were nearly identical aside from a couple different products, and picture quality from the reply email is worse than the one from bouncer. Was that email from reply a fake?

when in doubt, don't click the link and instead, visit the official page: http://www.crunchyroll.com/store

True enough, but just to clarify, bouncer is the actual email address that sends store deal emails right?

i remember reading a while ago how easy it is to spoof an email (so the email sender looks legit)
whether it's from CR or not, opening links from emails is generally a bad idea (unless it's for account activation and you expect that mail)

whether that mail was legit or not, i'll let a staff/mod answer it.

edit: an article about email spoofing and how easy it is

I've been getting store deal emails for a while so by now I know that the subject says one or two deals before it's cut off, the email is usually sent from bouncer, and that images in the email are of good quality, but to be safe I deleted both.
