My platform doesn't even have support for Flash beyond Chrome's built-in Pepper Flash plugin, which runs like garbage compared to HTML5 or flatout embedding MPV into the web browser. Chromium, Firefox and others have zero support for it.

I don't have flash enabled with the exception of crunchyroll.

I was literally thinking earlier about this and I'm hoping Crunchyroll are thinking about this also as I enjoy the site but technology wise it's starting to lag behind. Nice HTML5 player would really be a nice saver for me.

What? Why would crunchyroll want my videos to stop freezing every 2 minutes? They don't want to deprive me of the pleasure of restarting a video 30 times and taking 40 minutes to watch a 20 minute anime.

Pretty sure I heard one of the mods say that for every time this question is asked they'd delay the html implementation by a week.
So by my calculations, right now html5 is 6 years away.
