Stuff it down into a bottle and hold it in until the day I decide to end the world in an apocalyptic fit of rage.

Suppress it or threaten the person if they made me angry on purpose, I don't want to hurt anyone.

I usually just ask myself 2 things.

1. Is my anger justified?
2. Is there anything I can do to fix the problem and not make it worse or create a new one?

If either of these checks fail (2nd usually does) I can usually calm myself down. My mentality is to control what I can and not worry too much about anything else. I'm always looking for an inward solution.

The rare times that both those checks pass... watch out. I'm not backing down from a justified anger. I will go forth with whatever plan I had in mind. Luckily, that plan has yet to be violent. (that's reserved for life threatening situations or severe harassment)

I rarely get truly angry but when I do I attack the person with my seething words and watch the light drain out of their eyes

...that or I just rant about it on twitter

i've started to simply separate myself from the situation before doing/saying something i might regret. i find it leaves me a lot less stressed than when i act out on anger.

I try not to let myself get to that point. However when I do, I hold it in and go to the gym! And let my anger out thru my workout. And after my workout is complete, I forgot how angry I even was.
