Now, I have been using the app for a while, and recently a few anime have begun to have problems when I watch them on my kindle. Everything begins to pixelate and sometimes the screen will go black or gray, and I can still hear the voices, just nothing to see. Not all shows have this problem, but enough that it's getting a little annoying. Anyone know of a fix, or having the same problems? Btw, it's a kindle fire HDX 3rd Gen. Thanks.

Which version of the app did you install?

0.9.7 it says. But after a glance back over the apps page apparently it's something that may be caused by a kindle update...

If you sideload the google app store you should be able to update to a later version of our app.

Is anyone else having problems on kindle with constant buffering and the video not loading? Usually it will stream just fine with no buffering, but lately i cant get it to work. Nothing has changed with my internet, and i have tried uninstalling/reinstalling it, and logging out and back in. Nothing seems to help. Thanks in advance for any help provided

I'm having some trouble with the app on my Kindle. It keeps blacking out and saying that playback is unavailable. It's also not playing ads, which sounds great, but it's blacking out instead.

Hello I have also run into this issue. I bought a Amazon Fire HD 8, and I really like it but had run into a few apps that are not there. After chasing this one around, and even getting a very polite reply from Crunchyroll support I found a seemingly good work around. If you install the 1 Mobile Market place (you must allow third party installers through the security menu first) You can search for Crunchyroll and install that to your Fire. It works really well so far! The link to open on your fires web browser is below. Unless you intend on installing more third party sources, I would recommend turning the setting off after you have Crunchyroll installed.

One can also install the Google Play store on their Fire HD 8 (as I did on mine):
