No need to be rewriting characters to pander to a subgroup. This is getting old...

Sony Owns Spiderman and Venom. It's FOX that owns the X-Men

So take both Shapiro and the fanfic wish fulfillment seriously, because I guarantee that they're taking it seriously.

I don't think twitter is taking it as seriously as Shapiro is. -.-

I'm not even mad. I'm just impressed. That looks like it took more than the five minutes I took to make mine.

It is true that I don't look much at Twitter, but don't you believe in the rabidity of fandoms? I do.

I dunno, I'm not opposed to gay characters, but if one's going to appear it should be a character we haven't yet seen who's already gay. Making a character who has always been straight 'gay' isn't progressive, it'd feel forced and dumb, especially after his girlfriend from the 40s and the other girl in Civil War. I don't get what's wrong with Cap and Bucky being best buds; why do they have to want to put their dicks in each other? It wouldn't improve anything, and it'd feel ham-handed this far in.

Lmaoff ? Really ? twitter not a reliable source really? This where this took place, so yes it is very reliable because this is where this originated in the first place. I also provide links confirmed where this originated in the first place. Fucking twitter.
I swear people don't fucking read and say the first crap that comes out their mouth.

Unless you meant something else? Because again this took place first on twitter. So yeah is pretty difficult to get more reliable than the original source.

Christ, just let it be. Why does everyone need a partner all of a suddent? I get that people need diversity but why does Captain America and Elsa need a partner all of a sudden when they've done fine on their own?

Well, in Disney's case they have historically been pathologically incapable of having a female lead character that doesn't end up married off before she's old enough to drink, so. That Elsa even exists in the first place is kind of a miracle onto itself.

I'm not sure saying Marvel should "scrounge up a homosexual hero" would really help matters. >.>

That said, many of Marvel's prominent gay characters are in the X-Men universe ( since it resonates well with it story wise ). Which Marvel can't use because of how anal Sony is about the movie licenses. Marvel can't even say mutant in its movies. It wasn't even allowed to call Quicksilver/Scarlet Witch by, well, Quicksilver or Scarlet Witch. Its a miracle onto itself that they allowed Spiderman to be in Civil War.

So I looked into this thread for a laugh but I can't help myself when I see such a glaring mistake. So I hate to be "that guy" but for the movie licenses its Fox that has the movie rights for the X-Men and nearly everything X-Men related, not Sony. Sony has the Spider-Man rights and I can't remember if they have anything else. Fox also has the movie rights for Fantastic Four.

Fox HAD Daredevil until those rights lapsed due to them not making another Daredevil movie and went back to Marvel which is why we now have the pretty good Daredevil series on Netflix. Also if I remember correctly Sony's movie rights for Ghost Rider went back to Marvel as well either for the same reason as Daredevil or maybe something else.

That brings us to how Spider-Man was in Civil War, Disney and Sony had a sit down and Sony agreed to let Disney help them out with their Spider-Man movie problem by letting the re-rebooted Spider-Man be part of the MCU without Sony giving up the movie rights. Some sort of cooperative agreement where Sony gets to keep their name on (and get paid from) future standalone Spider-Man movies while Disney / Marvel gets to help write the movies and roll Spidey into the MCU at the same time.

So quite a bit off topic and for that I apologize. Have a nice day

Some things are for fun. In my fanon Steve and Tony are a thing. I don't need it in MCU. But yeesh, why is something like this even a thing. This is the Marvel Universe, being gay would not be a big deal.

I had a feeling this would happen. Not to long ago before this hashtag #GiveElsaAGirlfriend started to trend. Both characters are fine just the way they are, knowing their sexuality or not. It doesn't matter. And if they wanted someone to be gay, have it be a completely different character. Don't edit one that already exists.

Its the "diversity" that we apparently all need...
I almost hope the Muslims do take over. Will stop this shit from happening at least.
I did say ALMOST.
