What is your favorite Japanese treat you have or wish to eat?

Mine is Diafuku (mostly the strawberry kind!)

I don't have any way to get japanese treats without them being needlessly overpriced. 6$ for a bag of hard candies
If it's any consolation I can list one of my favorite Filipino desserts.
I LOVE sapin sapin. I'm easily distracted by bright colors so having a nice shade of purple which is caused by taro (purple yam) I naturally love it. Not to mention the Orange which I'm not sure what is caused by. It's tasty in my eyes. and mouth. (insert that's what she said here) Not a fan of coconut though so I pass on that.

Also no it is not a cake. It's like... mochi? It's like mocha except less chewy. I have no idea how to explain it. It's sticky and squishy. Close enough. (inserts 2nd that's what she said...yes I'm immature.)

To be honest it's actually fairly bland in comparison to it's bright colors. Still love it nonetheless. Apparently it's really easy to make but I'd probably burn it somehow. quick search online and this comes up. http://www.kawalingpinoy.com/2015/10/sapin-sapin/ If you can somehow find the ingredients and have the patience (and wallet size) for it, try it I guess? I dunno the price of these ingredients though. If you can find the ingredients it's probably in the same store as it already made anyway Also you've changed your profile pic at least 6 times everytime I check your profile pic. Do you have like an entire folder tucked away full of gifs for your profile pic? lol

I'd probably wouldn't eat it, more like frame it on a wall to keep it forever... then eat it in the middle of the night . The colors are just so enchanting!

don't put it in a frame it'll get stuck forever. Also the frame dirties will get stuck forever. If you make it it'll probably last for a good week if you ate like a slice a day. It'd take more like 3 days for me though because my sweet tooth compels me also if you like the colors of this look at halo-halo!

also it's not pronounced like the halo of an angel twice. It's pronounced more like "hollow hollow" It's also just a parfait basically. Still delicious tasting and looking

So far, I like mochi and red bean ice cream. Every time I visit a high end Japanese Restaurant, I aim to try something new. If not there I look for Pocky at World Market or something. XvD
