Holocaust -----> effected Jews
"Dropped lessons" -----> "to avoid offending muslims "

I'm so confused by the logic of the title alone

ARE YOU FRIGGIN' KIDDING ME?!
I took an entire class on the holocaust. You can't pretend it didn't happen. It's an extremely important part of history that shows what control can do to people step by step. It can cause people to become monsters without them even noticing it.

I tried searching for the story, but I can't find it on any reputable news site. Are you sure it is reputable?

Also, Oct 2015 is when the story was last edited, so it is a bit late.

I don't know, it can both ways
honestly? I wouldn't doubt it because holocaust denial is a thing, and hitlers books are a huge hit in the muslim world as well as korea I believe as well, and that hitler and muslim leaders were" friends" so to speak and had same views, maybe they don't want to be associated with the holocaust?

2007 has an article about a false rumor circulated in an email about UK schools banning said topic. (Source: Snopes, Factcheck.Org, Etc.) Seeing as I can't find anything recent, safe to assume this is an attempt to revive said hoax, or worst yet, display anti-muslim sentiments?

I'm not saying said discrimination is unjustified, but there is a lot of balderdash out there to support that agenda.

http://www.snopes.com/politics/religion/holocaust.asp

Googled "Schools Dropping Holocaust" and that was the very first result.

Edit: Won't deny that people deny the Holocaust, but the actuality of schools banning the Holocaust as a History lesson sounds really unlikely. Could it happen? Maybe, but I highly doubt it will. If you erase parts of History we are doomed to repeat it.

Edit 2: I am also finding a little evidence that shows americannews as being a fake/satire site. If the evidence is correct any article they present means nothing. Apparently American News likes to prey on conservatives.

None of the teachers I know are doing that. Also that's a pretty bogus website to be using for a source for anything.

It would anger Muslim's claims that the Holocaust wasn't a bad thing and/or never happened...

Or at least, that's what they believed in the UK (where Muslims are more of an issue), before Snopes busted it, as it was based on the press blowing up stories of one school dropping it.

APPARENTLY, American News is also a little pro-Trump. Could you tell?

Jews suffer a mere four years of hell. They get an entire damn lesson of history devoted to them.

My people ( First Nations) suffered a couple hundred years of hell and the loss of their homeland..And we're barely worth a few paragraphs in a North American history lesson.

And I am supposed to be angry at the rumour of the Holocaust being dropped from History books..Sorry I am disgusted at what the Third Reich did to it's Jewish population but I am more angry with the lack of history concerning my people. But that would of course paint the British the French, the Dutch, and to a lesser extant the Spanish in a bad light..and we can't have that now can we?

How did you even stumble across this and think it was reputable? The side bar of other stories alone should have been a red flag. If not that font. Oh god, that font.

Nevermind that no one is willing to sign their name to a single article on the site.
