When I'll be able to gather enough money to visit every place in Japan. Which means...when I become a pensioner

I've already been to Japan. Have you ever wonder why there's a population crisis? I've stolen all their fertile imoutos.

Been there already for school, Japan is a great place to visit, but not to live in my opinion.

Place is to congested around the city areas (which to me is where the fun is at) people watch you funny as a foreigner, especially if you're black like me, though I think it's more out of curiosity, not many blacks in Japan.. when I see one, they're usually as surprised as I am lol.

Culture is way off compared to the U.S, things we in the west would see as offensive or sexist are usually baked in as the culture's norms, though some of you probably know that from watching anime.

The people are nice though, and wouldn't dare get up in your face and say something mean, but I always get this feeling that their true intentions are spouted behind close doors... in other words, the Japanese people seem closed off in a robotic way, like they're programmed to be nice, and it seems forced to me.

But otherwise to that, had some good times, made a friend their too.

Not a bad country. I would just never live there.

Btw, anime obsession is not looked up to highly over there like many on this bored may think.

The Japanese see themselves a professional and conservative society, they hate weabs...

While Manga artist and creators are highly regarded, they still carry them selves far more professionally than your average eccentric nut from other country's entertainment industries such as Hollywood.

ASAP

Nah when I get my Bachelor's, become certified, and probably serve in the military for some time, I'd like to teach English over there. So that's probably in about 10 years...

I've been there, twice. It's definitely beautiful, once you get past all the tourist commercialism and anime weirdness. So much rich culture, and a lot of technological wonders. We literally had a robot knock on our hotel door and bring us food. It was the cutest thing I had ever seen.

The first time I went was with my photography class, we had a project on location there. The temples and landmarks were my favourite things to see. Part of the old world of Japan. It always makes me a little sad that anime and such are the highlight appeal of this wonderful country. You always have that one Westerner with the knockoff kimono, orange hair, and faux blade wandering around public temples.

Although the people are very nice, and very openminded. Especially when it came to sharing their culture. Granted, some of their views are a little old fashion, most prominently the men.
