If I'm lucky maybe next spring when I have vacation. If I'm going, I'm not going alone so I don't really know what I'm going to see but if I had to choose food and if possible maybe some temples and other cultural building and stuff. I would like to visit universal studios too and see other thing that I may not usually see.

I can watch French movies, that doesn't mean I want to go to Paris...

Maybe one day, but I don't know when. Maybe if I'm rich....

....and maybe if I can get over certain fears, such as their giant hornets, their huntsmen spiders, and their recently added Australian redback spiders.

I plan to visit Japan in December, preferably around New Years. So far everything is hopeful. If I am unable to make it for whatever reason... early next year is definite.

I used to live in Japan when I was a kid, my dad is from there so I have been going back to visit at least every other year ever since.

Like the above post said the best time to visit is definitely Spring (end of March to early May) when Sakura bloom all over Japan so you can experience 花見 (Hanami/flower viewing) like the Japanese do. It's an unforgettable experience

I will be leaving to study abroad in Japan this year starting in mid-September all the way until July 2017, so about 10 months. The first thing I do when I arrive in Japan is find a place to sleep.

QUESTION: For those of you who have arrived at Narita airport, where is a good first place to sleep? I've had people recommend to me internet cafes and the like but what about those who have have experienced it? What do you guys have to say? Thank you!!!

I can't wait, go Japan!

Next year to Akihabara and from there we shall see! Still planning the details like what shrines to visit, other cities and countryside to travel to, so much to do.

I've already been to Japan (Tokyo) in April. I went alone and really enjoyed it, I especially liked Meiji Shrine and Akihabara. Went on a cycling tour in the city and saw a lot of places, which you wouldn't see if you go with a bus tour group. Been to Miku Expo as well in Zepp Tokyo. Wanted to visit Kyoto as well, but didn't have enough time.
If everything goes as planned in September I'm going again and if I'll still have enough holidays left for the winter, in February I'm planing to go to Sapporo as well.

Meh I would rather go to Italy or Australia. Japan is overrated.
