Posted 5/25/16
I wanted to do this thread to see what others think? Crying at the movies men?
You have heard these sayings, "Grow up don't cry" "act like a man" "weak"?
So here is my question will you admit you cry at the movies? and next part what movies made you cry?

Tom hanks makes me cry I admit it.

I've never cried in a movie theater but movies have made me cry.
The strangest movie to ever make me cry was the bad Adam Sandler comedy, Click. The 3rd act is like super sad for no reason. It's actually pretty crazy.
I'll say it!
Pokémon the First Movie makes my eyes water every time I watch it and when I was a kid I cried every friggin' time. Old Yeller made me cry and Marley & Me makes me cry. I can't take sad animal stuff. It breaks my heart.

I might get a little misty eyed at a theater, but movies usually aren't worth crying in front of other people over.

Personal at the theater no. Never went to go see those type of movies. The first movie that had ever made me cry was the ending to the Notebook. Watching Up I don't want to watch much that movie made me sad, happy and cry all in one setting.

Most men cry through the penis and not their eyes. I guess they're real....tearjerkers.

When I went to see Captain America 3- Civil War there was a huge guy who sat in front of me. This guy was covered in tattoos, and looked like someone you didn't mess with. He was there with his daughter, and son. Well towards the end of the film, his little boy started crying. Well that huge guy leaned over, and I heard him say that there was no shame in crying, and that it was ok.

Also my dad served in the Vietnam war, and he had no problem showing his emotions, or telling me and my brother that it was ok to cry.

So I'm perfectly fine with it. It's healthy to cry.

I guees Paul Reubens(the actor who played Pee-wee Herman) was feeling emotional when he went into that theater.

I've never actually cried at the cinema, but there are films that have made me cry before. If anything a film making you cry just goes to show how impactful and well-executed a certain part was; there's no shame in showing the emotion the creators wanted to get from the audience, the same goes for fear or excitement and so on.

I don't recall crying in a movie as of recent, but I'm sure I have as a kid. But I also don't see movies too often.

I don't think I've ever cried during a movie, but I've cried during plenty of anime and a few games too...

When I go to the movies with my brothers or male friends and I cry a lot on the sad ones but they never cry. I have never seen a man crying, I don't know if they suppress their feelings in front of me because of the double standard that men don't cry or if I'm overly sensitive XD they didn't even express any emotion while watching 'Grave of the fireflies' ;____;
