I was also raised on with the mantra "big girls/boys don't cry", and big meant anyone over the age of 5. If you must cry find a private moment for that

It's possible, but the only time I watch movies is with friends and then they usually aren't what I'd consider tear jerkers. I am not really a movie watcher.

I might get misty, but I don't cry. Never in public.

I mean if its a sad movie sometimes I sweat from my eyes. It's a well known fact that men cannot cry

I don't really cry at the theaters, but movies do make me cry...occasionally. I did cry seeing the Bridge to Terabithia (spelling?) when I was younger but that was my only at theater crying experience.

At home that is a different ball game.

Sad events in movies/tv/anime don't make me cry. Seeing characters devastated by those sad events gets me almost every time. Such as a character that is having a hard time coping with a loss. I can't think of many movies that I have cried at the theater, because I don't go to the theater to watch movies very often.

I didn't see it until 2014 so it was loooong out of theatres by then, but Brother Bear makes me cry. A lot of Disney movies make me cry.

I have not cried in many years, I keep all my emotions walled up.

It's more of a man to be a moviegoer enough to be wrapped up in the emotions at the theater, than to be a high schooler at the theater shouting "C'MON, movie, enough talk, show some boobs!"

Didn't come for boobs it was all on the plot...
But sometimes things are needed either it being a sex scene etc^
Where sexual things could be used for better things insted of being hidden/turned away,
even though the use of it or the way its mostly would be used is maybe not so great..

Well its not really more or less a man if you do what ever...
Sometimes a tear or having some emotions so long it you are being yourself?
But being more manly is what I would say do it when there is a reason for it.
Shed a tear when its needed shows it all.
Breaking down isn't maybe the best for anyone even if thats what you wish for or how you are.

Most men cry through the penis and not their eyes. I guess they're real....tearjerkers.

That's one heck of a tear duct!
