The problem with those rules is you forget everything and will end up simply having deja vu every time you make a choice. You would do everything the same way (Disregarding personality changes). You do say you would keep your interest as now, assuming that means your personality would be changed to fit present you and erase old you I would do it. The personality change would change my life considerably so I would do it. I would probably chose to go back to about the age of 8, with my current personality and the circumstances of when I was 8 a few really good things would change.
1. I would probably stick to getting my black belt
2. I would probably stick to piano
3. I would do 10x better at math since at the time while I achieved practically perfect scores I would never accelerate myself. With my current personality I would demand harder classes and probably end up years ahead of my current knowledge by my age.
4. A few issues may turn for the better or worse I do not know but the personality change would alter the outcome for sure
Other than that I think everything would be the same... Simply a more driven less lazy me.

If you asked me that a year ago I would have said yes. I have come to the realization that my past was necessary in order to produce the "current me". I am satisfied with who I am and I know that I need my past - all of it - the good and the bad decisions to get to who I am today.

The way I wrote it yeah it kind of does, but I'm more trying to say that you aren't taking any profitable information back with you. You won't remember results of sporting events, stock market information, popular products and new inventions. For example, if you were old enough, you couldn't go back to before IBM with the knowledge of microprocessors and start the company yourself.

I'm tempted to say no, but if it's at any point of my choosing, then yes.

If I could travel in time, it would not be to a previous point in my existing life.

I want to see Sumeria, Babylon, ancient Greece, the Mayans & Inca. I want to travel Europe before the last ice age, and cross Beringia. I want to see Troy fall, watch Gilgamesh in action. I want to personally meet Jesus, and be present for his cruxifiction.

What I don't want is to change my past: it may have had a few rough moments, but it gave my a great wife and wonderful kids.

Yes I would. It would be most interesting to see the ancient world in antiquity. ^_^

I would go back simply for the chance to relive my childhood, those were some good worry free times
