I'm pretty sure its been over a month now without any time of notifications or update. This is bull crap. Anyone else considering going to the app store and giving out some 1 star reviews?

Not sure about that, but I'm definitely almost at the point of dropping the manga I'm reading on here entirely. After so much time of not being able to read them, I really just don't have any interest anymore.

Hi!

I have issues with the CR manga App since the iOS 9.3.0 update. The App crashes after login. As everyone else said, the crash still happens even after changing password or un/install.

I hope the App can be fixed soon as it has been broken for a few months now.

Thank you for your help!

Device Type : iPad Air
Streaming Via : Wi-Fi
OS Version : iOS 10.0 (for testing purpose but I had the App crash way back to iOS 9.3.0)
App Version : Manga by Crunchyroll 2.1.2

Device: iPad Pro 9.7 and iPad Air Gen 1
Streaming via: WiFi
OS Version: 9.3.2
App Version: Manga by Crunchyroll 2.1.2

As soon as you enter your name and password, the apps appears to close. Double clicking the home button, shows that the app is still running in the background but trying to bring it up causes it to flash on the screen and go back to appearing closed.

I've been watching this thread since May. My iPad 3 and my iPhone 5, both running IOS 9.3.2, have this same problem. The Manga App will not fully open when I'm logged in. As others have said it starts to open, flashes a start screen, then quits. Since May I've been unable to read my favorite manga. Looking forward to a fix soon. It is a shame to get to far behind.

Keep working on it.

I can't believe the original post in this thread was at the end of May, and we're now almost at the end of July. At any rate, my interest in this app and the manga has utterly 'crashed'. I've dropped it all and won't be coming back to it, even if they do ever fix things.

Same described by others. App appears to close when signing in, but running in the background. Bringing it up causes it to momentarily appear then drop into the background again. I have tried reinstalling the app and rebooting the device to no avail.

Just updated to iOS version 9.3.3. Manga app still crashes on login. Going to downgrade subscription if not fixed soon.

Same here. Still ongoing problem for three months now and no communication from CR on this issue! Funny thing is that they sent me an e-mail to renew my membership today. I wrote to CR explaining that being a premium member should have an access to both Anime and Manga. Yet they ignored my e-mails asking for them to fix the issue that has been on the forum since May. No one from CR had bothered to read the posts! I gave them my answer that I will not renew my membership UNTIL they fix the issue!

Very annoyed that they already make a new Anime app on iPad but do not do anything about the Manga app??? I got an impression that CR is losing interest in keeping Manga section.

Thank Hgosser for your head-up on iOS version 9.3.3 and that it does not help our issue! I was planning to update my iOS version in the hope that it will fix the issue.

Device: iPad 2
Streaming via: WiFi
OS Version: 9.3.2
App Version: Manga by Crunchyroll 2.1.2
Issue: Every time I try to open Manga App (still log in or logging in) and it immediately closes on me

I just got an e-mail from CR saying that they will escalate my matter to their team. That is the third time I had heard from CR that they will do something about this issue.

I think CR has changed a lot since the new owner took over. Many things went wrong, methinks. I miss some CR folks who were very helpful and caring. They ALWAYS make it a point to help the customers and keep them happy.

I gave them the link to our post in the hope that they will realize that there is a PROBLEM with the Manga app.

At least you got an e-mail from them. I haven't received any communication from CR. I can't help wondering if the lack of concern about the MANGA app might be that they are planning to go all ANIME. What other reason would cause them not to FIX a known problem that was reported in May? By the way I still have the same issue, and I'm still waiting for resolution or at least a show of concern.
