Well, they also predicted Schwarzenegger would be president, and look how that worked out for California...

How silly of me. What utter nonsense. What must I have been thinking?
Maybe the negative reaction was due to the accusations about his "never actually participating" in them, I'm surprised the mods allowed me to say that.)

Reee-ally? Do elucidate, on what particularly prompted a conversation with the Mods in the first place, and why you decided to use it as a conversion-pitch opportunity for the one object of your affection

(And even if you're still enough of a foreigner/kid to consider one-joked "Internet Roleplay" as just a fun lark between pals and NOT nails-on-chalkboard repetition without end to every single other poster on the board--
I remember back in the Usenet days, on our anime board, one poster who believed his wacky trademark was to post about his favorite anime Cat Girl Nuku-Nuku. That was the joke: If he participated in a thread, EVERY conversation would be steered toward it. Except for the ones he would occasionally start himself whenever he got bored.
Now...from what I understand, you want to increase exposure for your favorite title, and help it find more love in our country. As for Nuku^2, it was a relatively harmless 90's fluff comedy, back in the days when Megumi Hayashibara was on a roll, but that was before some of us on the board openly declared we didn't care if we never heard about the show again for the rest of our natural lives.

Just. Freakin'. SAYING. )

Hmm, Sorry I just don't see what the problem.. You must be one of my enemies who seek to end the Rome!

Could someone please explain Trumps politics as well as Clintons? Non biased please.

A reason that i dont vote for Trump is because he is republican, which for what i understand means enforcing christianity and other "conservative" things.

But maybe i am wrong?

This is the General area, as in everything: sex, drugs, politics...there's an anime thread around.

In a nutshell; Trump wants to kick out illegal immigrants (i.e Hispanic) and build a wall (who knows where...I guess Texas?)to keep the 'bad ones' out. This all started when he made a remark about how all Mexican immigrants were either rapists or drug dealers. He also wants to start some kind of registry to put Muslim Americans under survelliance and keep any other Muslims out of the country due to terrorist fears. He appeals to a certain demographic, but a lot of the so-called conservative policiticans ironically aren't fans of him either. His policy is to 'Make America Great Again'; which is fine...except a lot of his policies would alienate US allies.

Clinton is basically the opposite of everything Trump wants but a lot of people have bad feelings for her because:

--some people aren't too crazy about having a woman run for president; not being a jerk, just saying the truth.

--the email scandals that do make her look shady, but the FBI did exonerate her.

--She's indirectly responsible for Benghazi in which an ambassador and a few people were killed, which happened during her time as Secretary of State.

--A lot of people still hate Bill so...again, not being a jerk, just sayin'.

I tried to be as non prejudiced as possible. Basically...I hope Norway is ready for whomever is our next President because lawd help us all...

And the Independent Candidates don't look too promising either;

Not sure about Gary Johnson but Jill Stein is a batshit anti-vaxxer.

I should've added one more thing about Hillary...though in a way, it's not completely her fault; the DNC rigged everything against Bernie Sanders(who ran against her and actually did pretty good. I voted for him in the primary myself) to make him lose, but the chairwoman was fired.

If I were forced to pick a side in voting for a president, it would be Trump (only basically on a technicality since Shillary is all about the establishment). But thankfully, if I were at voting age (I'm not atm), Gary Johnson may be the candidate to go for, mainly from my similarly libertarian values.

Not really sure where to begin on that....I gather it's not such a deal in Europe...

but basically:

--some people believe that getting vaccines can cause autism and other illnesses, which really got bought to light when Jenny McCarthy(dimbulb D list celebrity) said her son got autism due to a vaccine. A doctor years ago had published some paper saying that this was legit, but was proven wrong later on. Jill Stein, I believe, has this view.

It's one thing not to get vaccines if it's against your religion, which I understand, but goddamn keep your damn kids away from me. A lot of other idiots think that their little snowflakes will be fine because of 'crowd immunity' but that's why there's been measles and whooping cough outbreaks. At least on the West Coast.
