I'd just like to ask what you actually know about PV's life? You're making a lot of assumptions, some of which may or may not be true. And from what I can see, you're taking a rather fascist approach to things here. Why is that?

Not assumptions mate, facts. PV has lived in the first world most of if not all of his life, this is proven by his relativity high level of education. He can after all read, write, and even argue his lack lustre points . He can occasionally back up his points with research. He obviously has electricity and steady access to the internet . He must get at least the bare minimum of food and water since he's lived as long as he has. He's too young to have seen any combat or have joined a police force.

All of that is more then a good chunk of the world's population can claim. So yes PV's life has been easy and likely soft since his middle of the road stance is so damn soft it sickens me.

And since when is the willingness to see past the need to people please make one a fascist? I for one also don't take kindly to being associated with a philosophy claimed by the Third Reich.

Damn. I would love to know what you think you know about me. HAHA

Seriously, hit me with your best shot, fire away...as the song goes. Not saying you won't be spot on, but I want to see how accurate it is. I'll even answer honestly.

Cheers.

Truthfully most of what I said for PV also applies for you save the soft stance. You're just an over privileged cave men stuck in the 1950s. None of us, me included can say our lives are truly hard. They may have been depressing at times. But we've haven't had to put with even 1% of the shit some people in this world have. The very fact we have leisure time to discuss the issue proves it .

Might want to drop the sarcasm though it's not impressing anyone, and given your rather lack lustre politeness and inability to see past your own prejudices it's not helping either.

sorry but i'm an equal opportunity offender....

aka you offend me, I don't fuss about it or cry into Facebook like some I know. I just say "hey that's fucked up man"....

then move on

If I offend well.....

sorry you weren't raised right and have to have everything sugar coated so you don't have a conniption fit/ that is what liberty is all about, choices. Choice to just say hey I'm done with this or curl up in the corner and cry like a little girl hoping that someone else will take care of it for you.....

Also, I better answer honestly, eh.

Let's see.

First, let me start by saying I have been truly privileged in life. I mean, I could have been born in a war zone, or a place with such poverty that I died of starvation. So, I mean, all in all - you are right...I've certainly lived a decent life.

I've dealt with poverty, though somewhat less than life threatening. I lived in a house without any doors, water, or electricity....we used to carry our shit out in buckets and bury. All in all, mostly like camping. I didn't worry about it too much at the time.

I've dealt with abuse, though not nearly as bad as some people have it. I mean, what are a few bruises to the body and mind, amiright?

I've dealt with neglect, but not nearly like some people deal with. I just spent a large portion of jr high and high school virtually living alone. But, wasn't bad. I mean, I had lunch meat and bread....restocked about once every two weeks. Occasionally, the cousins would let me eat dinner with them. Was actually some of my best memories, living alone.

Left home at 18 to join the Marine Corps. Was... the Marine Corps. AAV crewman, 1833, stationed at Courthouse Bay in Camp Lejeune, NC.....next to recon and Engineer Schools. That should be plenty of information to verify. If not, Sneads Ferry was the small town right out the back gate, and there was a strip club called Cherry's and one called Southern Comfort across the street from each other. Southern Comfort was BYOB and completely nude. Cherry's was boobs only. Southern Comfort got shut down because of drugs and prostitution. BUT, if you need more information to verify, will be happy to provide.

Came home, fiancee left me, next girl cheated on me with her cousin, and the next girl killed herself. That's was the first nine months out. Spent a lot of time at the bottom of a bottle.

I OD'd on methadone. That was suck. Got my shit together. Shortly after, my dad OD'd on methadone. Wrecked his truck out, and died on the side of the road of an OD.

Met my wife. Had my kids. Became a Christian, after a lifetime of atheism. Life is looking pretty good, now. Tough sometimes, but quite wonderful.

It's short for perambulator, which to be even more confusing, is also the name of a type of surveyor's tool.
