If you need to tell someone something (not necessarily something important) do you prefer to send a text or make a call and tell them directly

I honestly don't like texting too much because of the lack of emotions shown during the conversation and I make grammatical mistakes very often leading to misunderstandings

Which one do you prefer or do more often?

if a thread like this already exists let me know

I prefer texting.

But if it's something important, I would call.

Calling, it's easier for me to talk than write. Nobody understands wtf I text.

I do not own a phone. My wife owns a phone, and occasionally use it. So, I do not text...and only call when I have absolutely no other choice.

I text if it's trivial stuff but if it's important then I'll try to call and if they don't answer, I'll text them and call back later.

I rather do both. I like to text when I'm busy doing something and I like to call when I get bored of texting.

I prefer texting for brief conversations and calling for long conversations.

I prefer texting since you can always go back and see what you've written before, while you can't really do that in a call... Unless you record every call you get and do, but who does that...?

Depends on the length and complexity of the message. If it's going to require more than a single reply I prefer a call.

I prefer texting. I get nervous with calls and I don't show my emotions very well

I text mostly.

I ignore like 95% of my incoming calls.

I like both. Calling is better for a natural flow of conversation, or for conversations where the tone of what you say is important. I think texts can lead to a lot of misunderstandings.

But nothing beats a flirty text, and working out how to perfectly reply.
