I was born with a single grey strand in my hair. Dunno what that was about! My best friend's family is known for greying early. Her brother isn't even 30 yet and he has some of them, so she might get some early as well.

Noticed grey hairs developing at like, 15, now at 20 they're becoming more and more common. Doesn't bother me though, I wouldn't mind having natural grey hair (I just hope I don't become bald)

Grey hair is cool though, if you wear it right. I'm not sure I'm up for ageing though!

I'm 26 and getting some grey hairs. I just pull them out if they are super obvious. My younger sisters have some too. It's genetic on my dad's side. He was quite gray during his 30s.

WTF....

I have grey hair both on top of my head and in my bread and my hair is thinning on top... I don't care, really I don't care....

I am who I am, and anyone judges me by my gray or thinning hair can just go spit for all I care....

how old you are is how you act and perform not how you look....

Gray is also correct spelling, just not British spelling. No need to correct anyone.

To answer OP - Not unusual. I'm 29, cannot grow a full beard, will likely never have gray hair on my head (father had no gray is his hair when he died, and mother has very few, now), and I have a few gray hairs in my beard (of which, my father many). I love my gray in my facial hair because it is the only thing that tells my age. Not fond of people thinking I am younger than I actually am.
