adjective
1.
of a color intermediate between black and white, as of ashes or an overcast sky.
"gray flannel trousers"
synonyms: silvery, silver-gray, gunmetal, slate, charcoal, smoky
"a gray suit"
2.
dull and nondescript; without interest or character.
"gray, faceless men"

These are all from an American English dictionary... I'm English. I have a duty to dislike all American spellings of Her Majesty's English, just like it is my birthright to complain endlessly about the weather.
'Tis custom.

Now let's talk about your use of E in AGING

If HRH Queen Elizabeth were to discover that I had omitted the 'e' from ageing, like some sort of american, it is likely that I would be sent to the Tower of London. The E is right and proper.

all fun and games until you figure out your hair down there also goes Gray

I don't know how to feel anymore.

Grey hair is cool though, if you wear it right. I'm not sure I'm up for ageing though!

Gray is also correct spelling, just not British spelling. No need to correct anyone.

Not correcting anyone. Expressing my preference, since the OP used both spellings. Also, see above...

It's weird that you feel that way, grey hair is a sign of you losing your youth and vitality.

Furthermore, most men would not have a full head of grey hair anyway, most of us will have pattern baldness.

Is it strange that I'm sort of excited for my hairs to turn gray? I likes the look of it.
I'd be more excited if I wasn't already going bald (at 18 for cryin' out loud. I'm gonna look like a short Lex Luthor).
I guess I'll just have a gray beard and grey brows. Oh well.

I'll be bald by the time I'm twenty five. I hope I have a good shaped head for a bald guy. I always knew I would go bald. Even as a child I knew.
Goin' bald and haven't even hit the dating scene yet. Good grief.

It's unusual for people I know to be excited about silver hairs. As for going bald, both Yul Brenner and Telly Savalas became famous after shaving their heads for specific acting roles and ended up keeping that look for the rest of their lives. Both of them were considered quite manly men and even Queen Elizabeth is known to have been a huge fan of Telly Savalas as Kojak.

As for me, I have a place where a scar is just at the edge of my hair on my forehead where the hairs come in white. My ex husband used to tell me to leave it be, because he thought it made me look like Rogue from X-men.

Being blonde, I think my hair will probably shift right to white rather than gray.

I've been impatiently waiting for my hair to turn gray and then pure white.

My hair isn't going gray, it's been going silver since age 18. It's mostly from the temple area, so it's easier to hide depending on how I style my hair though.
