I much prefer fruit flavours(usually ice cream, desserts) for Summer and dairy for Winter.
Red meats for winter and white for summer.
Larger and pale beer for summer and dark ale, Guinness for winter.

Even fast foods have their seasons.

How about you?

Soups, stews, and chowders in the winter. Fried okra, ice cream, and grilled meat in the summer.

During cold weather months I eat heavier foods but in hot weather months I eat extremely light. On a weird note, I prefer to eat colder foods in the colder weather months and hotter foods in the hot weather months.

Because I live in FL and it's hot as all hell here, light and fruity foods are good during summer. Fall makes me think of heavy spice and meatier dishes. I just think of peppermint and chocolate around winter.

I am from the Fraser Valley, we only have two seasons, raining and not raining. Not a whole lot of wiggle room for food choices. I tend to prefer subtle flavors regardless though, I swear the rest of you must have no taste buds eating that over salted and over spiced crap. A super taster like me can't catch a break when he is eating out. I know I am a certified chef but making all of my own meals every day three times a day for the rest of my life is becoming a grind.
