So I signed up for a 30 day free trial through www.crunchyroll.com/mcmlondon yesterday and came back today only for it to tell me my email wasn't registered (I verified my email before watching anything). I decided to try and re-register through the same link using the same email, but this time it seemed to recognised it and log me in, only to tell me that I've already claimed my free premium trial.

Because it claimed my email wasn't recognised, I have already sent an email to the support team, but now I've been able to log in and have a look at the forums it looks like other people are having similar issues. Has this been fixed for anyone else, or have I lost out on my free trial?

I have to say that either way I'm really disappointed that after having an account for less than 24 hours I'm already experiencing problems. After hearing so much praise for this service I wasn't expecting to have to deal with this so soon...

EDIT: So I received a reply to my email and it looks like the problem is resolved. I've been given my free trial back, but it seems there's no explanation as to what causes this problem as of yet. To quote the email I got: "This error occurs for an unknown reason and we apologize for the inconvenience. We are looking at resolving the trouble as quickly as we can." Even so, I got a quick response and an immediate fix which is great! Thanks for the help guys!

I'm having the same issue, I signed up last night before the servers went down. I tried to sign on through my Xbox and my email wasn't registered so made a new account with the same exact info, only to find that my two week trial lasted less than 12 hours.

Welcome! This sort of thing is super-duper unusual. One of the staff seems to be doing his best to address the issues that come up in forums (at least during his awake hours), and since you've also emailed support I'm sure they'll take care of things for you as soon as they can. I imagine they have a lot of cases to deal with though, so it might take a little time.

I've just received a reply email from the support team and they've issued me a new free trial, so it looks like the issue is resolved. I'd recommend you send them an email as well as I got a reply in about an hour which isn't bad at all. Good luck!

I meant having something crash so bad that there are lots of people with messed up trials and initial memberships is unusual. Which it is.

This particular case at this particular time is not, as we can see from the state of the Site Support forum, unusual.

You're lucky, I've been waiting a while to get a reply on the exact same issue though it seems everyone else is getting it solved fairly fast. :\

EDIT: Shortly after writing this it was, so I guess I'm just impatient I'm glad they are getting things sorted out, and I hope nothing like this happens again.
