Sleeping or music works for me. Playing games works occasionally as well. Hmm, and I did have some positive notes I wrote to cheer myself up or remind me to be positive, though being depressed at the moment might not help for writing anything. (Though, that's just from my own experience. If you think that writing would help you feel better, go ahead!)

Just do something that you enjoy or like doing to get your mind off it. If that doesn't help, you can always talk to someone, be it what's on your mind, or other subjects that can help you not think about what's bothering you at the moment.

I clean! Like a madwoman. It's easy to wallow when things are messy, but a clean living space is a clean mind for me. Then, I do something for me in the clean loveliness. Sounds mad, but I'm mad so.

Hey, I do the exact same thing! I can't stay organize for the life of me, but when I'm upset, suddenly there's an urge to clean and organize every inch of the house. XD

I also like listening to older Disney songs and it almost instantly lightens the mood. :3

Not in any particular order

-Get drunk
-Get REALLY drunk
-Write
-Mess around with the guitar
-Watch more anime
-Stress about work and/or college
-Go to the beach
-Drunk text people
-Browse Imgur for hours
-Listen to music
-Sleep
-I went skydiving once, this had me uplifted for a few weeks

Just go and do things really, that's just my 2 cents though.

I'm generally neat.. But when I get on a downer it's hair in a top knot, sleeves rolled up and I clean everything from the skirting boards to the insides of cupboards. It just makes me feel like everything is fresh and I can start over.

Disney songs are THE Cheeriest thing ever. I wish dedicated Disney karaoke nights existed. The world needs to hear me sing the Gaston song.

Here is a detailed action plan that I swear brings me back from the brink of destruction every time:
A nice hot shower.
Freshly washed pajamas/comfy clothes
Your favourite food/drink
A nice quiet spot
Your favourite show
A good sleep.
