I use Malwarebytes in conjunction with an antivirus called SecureIT
I wouldn't expect anyone to know SecureIT is, but it gets the job done for me.
Always alerting me about incoming and outgoing connections, blocking them, and telling me about sneaky shit.

Also; MFW people ONLY using Windows Defender;

Good luck with that one guys.

Windows Defender is literally the highest bar of limbo for malware/trojans etc...

I've been using the same programs since either early 2006 or late 2005. Avast anti virus, Zonealarm firewall, and Spybot Search & destroy. Nothing ever makes it through that. Before I started using those 3, I used to get infected a lot.

Emsisoft Anti-Malware. Paid, but it's rated pretty damned secure, easy to use and low impact on my system.

Every time I hear Norton and nothing but Windows Defender I shudder. The way I look at investing in a scanner is that I paid some decent monies on my rig, I neither want Norton slowing it down nor malware.
