here we see the horny pv in his natural habitat.

On his search for imouto's he prowls the forums.

I don't think he is earning any brownie points with any imouto for that comment.

Neither do i but who even understands pv's thought pattern.

Haha. True, true. We need a PV book for dummies so we can get a glimpse of how his mind works.

It can be fun as long as your friends are funny and they don't have bad tempers.

I'm a former PnP tabletop RPG guy myself. Used to run games as Dungeon Master. Various games - some set in fantasy worlds, one set in the 1860s United States where Drow invade the surface in the middle of the US Civil War (a few Confederate & Union Generals were actually Drow disguised as people). I played various games using d20, AD&D 2nd Ed, 4E, 3E, Mage, and GURPS rules. I haven't played any in years, but that's mostly been due to lack of interest/time/friends who do. Being a Dad with little kids, my free time has changed to prioritizing different things. Finding D&D games to play is not really on that list these days...

I kinda wish I was into them but I never could find a way for it to work for me. When I see people really enjoying themselves with it I do feel a bit of jealousy but it just doesn't seem to be my cup of tea.

My brother was into D&D when we were kids. He would always try to get me to play, but when I did we would end up fighting and ruin it for all his friends. He also played Magic the Gathering and tried to get me to play that too, but he cheated non-stop so I stopped playing with him. I never got into Tabletop games really.

I did design a game on graph paper where you built armies and moved them around to fight, sort of like a RTS but before they existed. I had more fun making the game than playing it, since it was super tedious to play.

To answer the question though, no I don't think it's weird. Super nerdy, but that's OK.

I played tabletops for a brief period in my life. I stopped though because everyone pretty much got mad any time I was having any fun what-so-ever. Pretty much like any gaming at all these days. People always so angry when someone in the group is actively working against the best interests of the group just to bring some excitement to the table. Bunch of scrubs more like it.

No. In a world where one of the most iconic games is Monopoly, a game in which players roleplay as greedy CEO's, I fail to see other tabletop RPGs strange.
