I love out in the woods and boondocks. There's no calling 911 out here. There's a joke locals go by about referring 911 as their guns. if you do call it's a 30-60 minute response

Damn, where I come from there are no guns and the longest I've seen the police take is 8 minutes. I'd be on edge permanently in a place like that .

Oh, when I first moved here I wanted nothing to do with guns, let alone living in the woods that faraway from any populated city. Now, I'm in the firearms and defense industry. You get used to it. Living in fear is not healthy for the soul, as Japanese/Okinawans are known for not being fearful.

There's nothing like communicating in a meaningful way then pulling a trigger at an assailant. The whole "fearless bad guy" assumption goes out the door when they run from gunfire. You gotta be aware and make yourself seen and known. It's the law here, and they require hunters and hikers alike to wear Blaze Orange.

I suppose you would get used to it after a while, it's just unnerving how quick it is. I just feel if someone pulled a gun on me that it'd be the end, I don't how to disarm and I can't outrun a bullet. Although if I lived somewhere where guns were used I would make peace with it, or at least try to, as I agree that living in fear is one of the shortest roads to madness.

If it ever were to, tell them you got nothing to lose. Because there's nothing more dangerous than a person who has nothing to lose. It works. The people who do that, really have no intention to kill anyone, and 9 times out of 10 the gun they got pointed at you, is not loaded and it's easy for one to recognize once you do see it. Many newer guns of today have what they call a "Loaded Chamber Indicator" It's usually along the slide on pistols right near the ejection port where the shell casings fly out. And you don't need to be any sort of expert.

Good to know, should keep that advice in mind since I plan to travel a lot sometime soon, so thank you for the info .

Yeh, my only concern is if it does grow, how much can the servers handle. But I suppose when that bridge is reached, everyone will know aha. I've been having a pretty rough week so trying it out will be slated for the weekend, not sure what I'm gonna do aside from bike ride but gotta keep options open.

Cool beans. It's on steam now too and there was a wipe only yesterday so you won't be far behind. Bike riding also sounds fun, especially if it's nice and comfortable outside.

Thank goodness. That ordeal has been going on all day so it could have been a lot scarier than it was.

It is never too late. I am doing well, thank you for asking. I just woke up from a nap. I was really tired earlier. xP How about your self?

That's cool. I had to Google what that was. Now I'm slightly envious. I don't even have a PS4 and it's not out yet over here.

It's okay, you can also get it on vita and PS3 if you have either of those. I think it comes out in around two weeks there. But I think you guys got grand kingdom first and I kind of want to play that just as bad.

An old lady a month ago at the Shell mini mart here got robbed at gun point while fueling up. Little did they know she was married to a man who was a competition shooter and vietnam veteran. and she reminded the man in a ski mask robbing her that his gun is not loaded and that "you don't scare me!" After she put her finger in the barrel. He ran away as she did that. That's another thing. They're all cowards. If he got scared of a little old lady, it's a given.

Good to hear you're doing well. I'm doing good, bit tired considering it's 3am but coffee and loud music is helping .

She sounds awesome, that would have been a sight to see.

Yeah it's actually been really nice lately, especially since most of the rain has passed so far. Unfortunately a bad sleep schedule for this week has prevented me from rolling with my normal biking schedule, though Saturday will resume everything back on track. I gotta beat my last timed record by at least 1 minute x.x

Bad sleep schedule you say? Story of my life. Sleep at 5am wake up at 10 to let the dogs out, then sleep some more. I hope you can get a new PB on your route!

By the way, if enough people post here we should play some random games like ludo or board game online to pass some time, if anyone is interested of course.

Ah, ok I have a PS3. I need a PS4 for Kingdom Hearts 2.8/3 though! I'm also useless at not knowing how to reply to this without tagging everyone's conversation

I used to play board game online, but my friends would quit when i'd always win. They got tired of hearing my it's garbage way win quote. I dunno what ludo is, though.

The person who you're quoting is always at the top of the quotation list. Therefore, you want to delete all but the first and the line they said. It's pretty easy. I delete it if it gets too long because i don't want to clutter my response.
