Same. I either use chopsticks or just pick it up with my fingers.

I just stick to chopsticks since I usually eat other things like ginger on the side.

With chopsticks of course! Who eats sushi with a fork anyway?

I've never had sushi before but I can't use chopsticks so I'd use a fork.

Chopsticks to make the experience more authentic, plus I have germ phobia so I generally don't like to touch my food.
However I think most Japanese people eat sushi with their fingers. So if trying to "When in Rome..." it's best to not use chopsticks.

But the rice would crumble if you spear it with a fork. Better just use your hands instead.

I've seen some terrible things at Japanese restaurants, including but not limited to:
Eating sushi with a fork
Eating sushi with a fork having sliced it up
Spooning soy sauce over sushi
Miso soup with a spoon
and my favourite - someone eating mochi with a teaspoon.

English people can't sushi very well...

On a side note, I find it mad that people eat noodles with a fork instead of chopsticks - Chopsticks are SO much more practical.

Oh, wow! How could you slice up sushi with a fork? The rice would all crumble..
And eating mochi with a teaspoon? *speechless*
