I've seen so many anime that end 1-3 years before the manga concludes. I don't like having to change media just to get the conclusion. What is you perspective?

I don't really get frustrated over something like that. Personally it gives me an excuse to go to the bookstore

Sometimes. If i don't have the means to read the real ending then it is frustrating.

Nah I get more frustrated when a good series ends on a total cliffhanger with little to no hope of a second season.

God yes, I will not read a fucked up version of a novel simply to get the rest of the story. Either give me the full story in the anime or I am not watching your anime. That shit has ruined so many good anime for me. I don't mind novels, I love to read. I like watching anime. You know what I don't like doing, both at the same time. And that is what manga is trying to be , just stop it there is a reason comic sales are tanking in the West.

it's not a problem to worry about

if you saw enough anime based on manga you will noticed that most anime ended short

few anime series will follow the manga closely.. while most will have altered story comparing to the manga

so when the anime ended leaving you scratching your head pick up the manga to continue the story

In some cases I didn't care, but some animes, like Sket Dance or One Punch Man, would be nice to see fully animated.

The other case I really understand is Bleach. I will never forget how I stopped watching for more than a year because of fillers and after all that time they still fillered... I read the manga a bit after that and it was quite good, but Bleach really is an example for when it is okay to stop an anime.

It depends on how much I'm enjoying a particular series or not

isn't that usually the case though? don't care. at most, i'll be disappointed if i really like the series, and there's no confirmation for an anime sequel.

Only if there isn't going to be a next season for the anime. Like I want the bests of both worlds.
