I recommend Clay Lord by Jun Suzumoto. It's a fun quick read, not the best story ever but at only 3 volumes it's a very fun digestible series. If you're in for a longer experience you may want to try The Heroic Legend of Arslan which is a fantastic manga with an intriguing politically driven story and very intricate fight scenes. Waaaaaay better than the anime. If shojo is more your style there's shuriken and pleats by the author of vampire knight. It's a very stylish tale that works great for gebre savy fans. And if you want some good old shounen battle action then the first volume of Black Clover drops this week. I hear it's already gotten quite popular in Japan and I myself plan to pick it up.

A Silent Voice by Yoshitoki Oima can be difficult to read. It's filled with weighty issues and character drama. Some major characters are initially obnoxious or tough to like. So why should you read this story?

* Only seven volumes, all available in English.
* The story will get a reaction from you. It's difficult to read this one and just say "Whatever..."
* Reading A Silent Voice might be motivational. You might end up rethinking your goals and viewpoints.

One I really like reading right now is Yamada-kun to 7-nin no majo.
I mainly read a lot of shoujo manga like:

Horimiya
Nijiiro Days
Renai Boukun
Last Game

If you're not picky then I'll recommend my personal favorite manga of all time and one of the best fantasy stories I've read: Berserk. But I must give a warning because, if you haven't read it, you must know that Berserk is one of the most violent manga out there. The story is truly disturbing and you'll find every type of violence imaginable, from physical to psychological to sexual. But despite all of that, the characters are incredible, they're deep and complex but their motivations are very clear, which helps you understand their actions later on.

The problem with Berserk is that the author constantly goes on hiatus, so we're never sure when he's going to take a break or when he will start writing and drawing again. But still, Berserk is a terrific manga and if you haven't read it, I promise you won't be disappointed if you can handle intense violence.

Most of these are really dark and have sex scenes. I know you said you aren't picky but I feel like I should warn you anyways

Oyasumi Punpun (my favourite of all time!!)
Litchee Hikari Club
Boku wa Mari no Naka
A Silent Voice (this one is an mostly an exception from the above warning because it's really sweet, though it still gets REALLY sad)

Hope this helps a bit!
