Bit of a blanket statement for what is "wrong," but I find it easier to feign incompetence than to approach it directly. If you're lucky, the situation can be diffused.

Ya know that is what is wrong with the first world..the ability to own up to one's mistakes. Attitudes like yours are why we of the first world deserve to be taken off our high horse and be forced to give up all our comforts.

On the list of things "wrong" with the "first world," I'm pretty sure this one sits pretty far down there and is a pretty universal feeling. And how on earth does one get forced to give up comforts for something as silly as that?

Ya think the unwillingness to admit we are wrong is a trivial matter..go back to your parents kid for you are obviously still a child. A rational adult will own up their mistakes and face the consequences

Uh oh, Ad Hominem attacks, look like this is pretty much over. Your argument seems to lack as much judgement as your observation of morality. But ok, I'll just stick to what I've been doing. It's been working for over 21 years so far.

I'm not sure, but I am absolutely the world's worst liar. Or am I the world's... best liar...? Either way, I'd probably end up digging myself into a hole. So if you see me doing something wrong, for the sake of both of us, just let me continue doing it wrong. I only put in 40% effort for any given task anyway; it's not like it would be hard to correct. After I walk away of course.

If someone saw you then you might as well admit it.

Given that I act for a living, I am a terrible liar.

I tend just to own up to things, and then OWN them.

depends on if I can debate my way out of it with sound reasoning and by not faltering in order to convince the witness that they have a grave misinterpretation or jumped to the wrong interpretation of what the say or believed they saw

I got my nephew to toss stuff out of the window. His parents saw it, but I think I got us both out of trouble. I really need to start controlling my facial muscles though... If they'd really looked at my face, we'd have been screwed. A life lesson the hard way. I did the same thing when I was young. We at least got rid of that rotten sandwich that had been sitting in the front though.

So, I picked lie of course.
