Pretty much all of my college classes allow five unexcused absences. If I don't get sick over the semsester, I skip some days towards the end. I look at it this way, you might as well put those five days to use.

Never skipped school, but skipped plenty of classes in college though. I had several classes that I only ever showed up for tests and things required to be turned in, in person.

Well, in elementary, I'm sure I pulled the "I'm so ill. *cough cough*" a time or twenty, but I think everyone did that.

In high school I did skip a lot tho, not by faking anything, but simply by not arriving for whole days and manufaturing reasons and "documentation" supporting the claim. And noone was the wiser, parents or teachers. Can't say I recommend going all out like so, unless you know what you're doing and like to gamble, because unlike "skipped that one math class in the afternoon" case, you wil very likely get kicked out for this if found out, permanently.

Never felt like skipping on university, because noone really forces you to attend in the first place.

I use to skip school in my senior year.

One day me and my friend decided to walk far away and eat at this one place and then her friend drove us back to her place.

But I mostly ditched my last class of the day a lot to go to my friend's house just cause she didn't have a last class.

I skip school sometimes, but only if it is a class I'm already doing well in or if the teacher is stupid. The point of going to school is to learn so when there is no learning to be had I prefer to do other, usefull things with my time.

Then again I don't skip that often. Last year I actually had a 98% atendance rate, The remaining 2% I was very sick and could barely leave my bed.

I used to skip in middle school because I just did not enjoy it at all. But once I started going to high school, I just told myself, this shit is important, being lazy is not a reason to stay home. So I never really was gone from school for 3 years. People were surprised if I was gone xD

I'd go weeks without going to school, because it was just pointless

Now I just take my classes online and I don't have to deal with immature idiots or teachers that don't know what they're doing

the school system here is very bad...

...This explains alot
