By that rule i as a 19 year old should be able to date a 16 year old.

Last time i checked the rule was 2 down 3 up.

...how many rules are their @[email protected]

19/2 = 9.5
9.5+7 = 16.5
Round up to nearest whole number = 17.

As for the oldest people you could date:
19-7 = 12
12*2 = 24.

So at 19 your "non-creepy" dating pool would consist of people between 17 and 24.

It totally works! The age ranges really only get big as you get older too. So at 26, my non creepy pool is 20 - 38 (Although 5 years either way is my limit - I prefer newer models... but not too new)

I lived with/dated a 17yo when I was 21. That was a bit iffy.

Turned down a 15yo when I was 22 and a 19yo when I was 27.

Don't think anyone past third or fourth-year college finds me attractive... which means I'm entering creeper-or-loner territory now

If they're older than your parents, abandon ship.

As you get older I think an age gap matters less.

If your lover can vote when you are leaving the womb that is too much IMO.

That's a very hard question to answer. My heart tells me to say that there is NO gap. That if true love is involved then age doesn't matter as long as they're both consenting adults. Some times I find it a bit creepy though and it definitely has that ick factor when you see an 18 year old with a 69 year old. But still, I really can't answer this question for anyone else properly though because I don't know what's in their heart. Only you know what is or isn't right for you.

I would prefer guys around my age. My parents are 7 years apart; just thinking that my mother was born when my father was in school, is a bit ,yeahh, wierd.. As far as my age as it it now, I think around minus 1 or plus 3 is okay. My brother, who is 20, has been together with a girl my age for two years now. In the beginning I thought it was a bit much, but oh well. If you're in love age doesn't matter that much, to a certain degree.

When it's illegal is when the age gap is too big. Consenting adults should know what they're doing, so age doesn't matter as long as they are adults.
