You watched the worst of the conferences. Ubi dragged on forever and ever. Ghost Recon looked cool if you're into that sort of stuff, i just hope it's not another Division in the sense that there is NOTHING at End Game, but yea, i feel bad that that's what you were exposed to first from this E3

personally, i think Sony won the conferences. so many games and so many new IP's. it wasn't like "remember zelda!? here's zelda!" or "remember gears of war!? here's gears of war!"

while, obviously, those games are there for a reason and are staples to the console, those are things that we've seen before. there won't be too many surprises in those games. it will be a quality experience, for sure. i don't doubt that. nintendo legitimately spent 1 hour on pokemon and 6 on zelda. i enjoyed microsoft's conference and they are definitely heading in the right direction, but all that it said to me is that if i have a dope enough PC, i don't have to get an XBone. i think that's great. their xbox plays move is amazing where the majority of their future titles will be available on Windows 10.

anyway, i definitely suggest watching the MS and Sony conferences because they both did a great job this year. aside from that, since we're all fans of anime, definitely check out GRAVITY RUSH 2 for the PS4. holy. shit. this game is gonna be amazing.

i have a lot more to say, but i've watched a LOT of coverage on E3 this year. if anyone has any questions about E3 this year, i probably have an answer for you.

Oh, of course. Sony totally killed E3 again this year. There really was no competition. And, thing is, Sony did it in the best possible way, with footage (including plenty of actual in game footage) of actual games.

There were a few things outside of Sony's conference that looked good but it was really just pick and choose. Sony was back to back to back good. The only thing I didn't really dig from Sony's conference was God Of War and that was mostly because I don't like the series at all and haven't liked it since the first one. I can still recognize, however, that the new GoW got a lot of people super hyped.

As for Nintendo, I just can't make myself care about the new Zelda game. Sure it looks pretty (or at least the environments do anyway) but the gameplay itself just looks old and tired. We've had so many better playing action adventure games in the past few years and we've got stuff like Horizon to look forward to in what looks to be a similar genre. Plus, as someone who really dislikes the whole survival crafting genre, the fact that they've shoehorned that into the new Zelda just turns me off even more (not to mention the continual BS about the hero of the Zelda games needing to be a male).

i was always a huge fan of god of war and i was never really tired of kratos just being angry for the sake of being angry, but it's good that they're taking a new approach to it. over the shoulder kratos? i'm all for it. i'm a huge souls fan, so i'm definitely used to slower combat. although, i did enjoy how they utilized the different weapons/powers in god of war 3.

i totally agree with your thoughts on zelda, as you probably would have guessed because of my past statement. i don't think they needed to add the whole survival/weather thing. 'Link is cold! he needs soup!' yea, no thank you. i think you're right in saying that there zelda is trying to be a type of game that's already out there. not only that, but these other games are doing it really well and i'm assuming doing it better already. oh well. i don't expect much from nintendo these days, which is disappointing. one thing nintendo DID show that i am super interested in is Rhythm Heaven Mega Mix on the 3DS, but i'm a sucker for rhythm games
