I know the feeling. But where i work you are better off having a day off than being late.
They will fire you for being late like even one minute but not if you take the day off.....

I quite often sit on the sofa until the bitter end before my bar shifts, debating whether or not 'I just want to drink wine and hang out with my cat today' is a reasonable explanation for not turning up.

Gotta say, I admire the way you do things.

No, thank YOU ^_^

What a backwards world, being absent is better than being late? I can see some upper-management types huddled around an oval table in the back of my mind, sipping their 4th cup of coffee and pulling their hair out, coming up with this one.

Seriously though, it's Sunday and they'd be lost without me, so I think I'm secure. It's definitely taking some extra effort to convince myself that I need money more than I need anime and video games and all the other wonderful things that come with being at home. I just did laundry too, so my bedding is very alluring to me right now...

Oh damn, I forgot about church!

Alright damnit, I'll go to work after I burn this album.

So damn good. Oh my god. Jean Frusciante + The Mars Volta. Sometimes all it takes is a little inspiration...

I love my job, keeping a bunch of adhd retards working as a collective whole is so fulfilling. Kinda like a rubric cube ya know.

I just work at a convenience store / truck stop. It's pretty standard, but dealing with the public isn't really my scene... unfortunately there aren't any jobs available in areas I am proficient in. I'd love to land a job that has some sort of typing involved since I can easily hit over 110 words a minute.

I worked at a law firm for almost 2 years without any college education just based on my typing / computer skills.. it'd be great to utilize them again some time in another career...

It's not always that bad but... damn, obligations. I should study up on those guys who just get my tax money for filling out some papers every month.
