Imagine you could pick a day, tomorrow, next week, whatever where you will live that 24 hour period twice, but the rest of the world will only live it once. Basically the first 24 hour period will be erased from existence, but you will remember it and continue on into the same 24 hour period that you can do completely differently or however you want.

I'd take it. Seems like it would be interesting to re-do an entire day and make new choices

Yes you would die, but if you killed someone that day, they would be alive again the "next" day. Basically it's kind of like a time machine that sends you back 24 hours.
