#FreeAmosYee

Absolutely ridiculous how he's being charged for voicing his opinion. This guy is brave af. Standing up to corruption and salty religious assholes.

I wouldn't say brave, seems more like he just have given up to how things are and how they value a book or hiding their words or not allowing saying against someone even if that means to be a bit aggressive (while don't doing threats as they would say something more "awfull" as going to hell)... but if one belives in it though.

It might seem a little strange to us in the west but these are their laws.
I also doubt that they arrested this guy just because he offended Islam.
It's seems every religion is treated the same.

What law did they say he broke...? I don't see why he would have to serve time for this.

For hurting the religious feelings of Muslims and Christians... yes those are actual laws in Singapore. You're not allowed to hurt peoples religious feelings in Singapore. I don't believe in any restrictions in law against free speech, which is why I am dead set against this.

Do they not have the internet in Singapore? lmao the internet is essentially where you go to get your feelings hurt

This here is the video that got him sent to prison for 1.5 to 3 years. Apparently he's going to jail for hurting the feelings of Christians and Muslims, but i'm sure we all know it's "really" because he insulted Islam. If he did the exact same thing with the bible and never insulted Islam, then nothing would have come of it.

How do you figure this has anything to do with Islam? The guy's legal history is a mile long and is tied up almost exclusively with Christianity and, apparently, Margaret Thatchter anal sex.

At least read the story you're trying to bullshit us with. -.-

and how those areas laugh of people like this.
all those secular countries at least they embrace what once was a part of the country while moving on...

I think he's pretty brave considering he's facing jail time and doesn't give a shit. You probably won't see this since your banned hahaha, i wonder how that happened?
