very meaningful stuff. I'd say I have a productive life as most people do but whether that production is good or bad isn't left up to me. I suggest you go on with your ideal life and soldier through that insomnia, or don't let me live mine as I'll be the judge of whether its worth it or not in the end

Feeling a bit of hostility I see, don't flinch now, I thought you were the one who took pleasure in others responses, or can you not handle my alpha dominance that is here before you. Maybe you feel the need to cast me aside? Hoping I won't respond to you anymore, but isn't that what you wanted? Most people don't live a productive life, and for the time being you have chosen to find pleasure in seeking the hostility of others, when I myself am merely stretching my fingers.

Or would you be so bold as to find it in your heart to continue.

What a fool. Thank you for making Christianity look even worse in the public eye. Whatever happened to loving everyone as commanded by Jesus Christ. This man has no right to preach. He is no man of God.
This not the word of God. This is garbage. Absolute trash.
Sorry. We're not all like this idiot. He is no Christian. I'm sure there is good in him somewhere to be loved but this is hideous.

You are the type of Christian i love <3

This isn't at all surprising, it baffles me that people are so surprised at this. As an ex-Christian I can tell you from experience that anti-homosexual, anti-trans rhetoric is preached all the time in Christian churches. It's commonplace. That kind of preaching absolutely breeds hatred and "othering", which leads to statements like these. Basic social psychology. I used to think less of gays too when I was a Christian. Still unlearning it. This is the dirty truth that most Christians will never admit, or will sugarcoat.

Religion is a potent brainwashing force, and the ideas contained within all the Abrahamic religions are toxic to modern society, as showcased by this pastor (and many others who've been doing the same thing for years, it just hasn't made the news), the Orlando shooter, ISIS, & all other religious nuts causing harm to people because of the insane, stone-age myths they've been brainwashed with from birth.

Well said. I agree it's good to be involved (inasmuch as you can be, of course, without losing yourself to the feeling of helplessness which can very well happen when it overwhelms you).

I'm Catholic myself and while I don't condone the lifestyle itself, I was blessed with a great mom (and some good priests) who taught me that it's possible to respect a person as a person even if you do not agree with his choice of lifestyle. Same with loving them. You can love someone and not agree with the choice he/she is making.
I don't like bible quoting but it's pretty true to 'Love Thy Neighbor as Thyself' and 'Do good to them that hate you'. It didn't say 'love the fact that they do this-and-that which by our laws it considered wrong and if they don't convert then shoot them'. It says to love them; and if you think they are making a wrong choice, to pray for them.

And if the dude wants to preach on the bible and sodom and Ghammora then he needs a better argument than that. God told Lot to get his entire family out; He did not send the whole Jewish army to rain down punishment upon the city. He did that Himself.
The man who did this took it upon himself to deliver Judgment which is an exceedingly grave sin of itself and reflects badly on the faith he professes, now. He gunned down his own cause along with those lives and it reflects badly on religion in general and may have caused many to lose faith, which is also on his head.
This preacher needs to learn his own bible and the Old Testament of Wrath. "Judgement is Mine, Saith the Lord"...and any Christian knows that God does NOT mince words.
