Just because someone calls themselves a Christian doesn't make him a candidate to be elected. Politicians have almost always very cunningly used religions as a form of control. That is when their hearts is at the most evil. They promise things like incentives and benefits for the said religion, things like erecting more religious institutions, and give promises that sound great and humble. But beware, there is a very thin line between acting out of love and pretending to act out of love.

I suggest consulting with God himself. Pray about it. Man does not have the wisdom that he has.

^ really? what does she believe in?

As much as I know about the Bible, I probably know less about politics than about the Bible. Same goes for many Christians. Many are not right for the job as President of a country like the United States. Of course, I'm not saying being a Christian and a President is impossible...

Someones religious views are an awful reason to vote for them. Why not research their stance in the issues instead of taking the word of religious leaders like a sheep. People like that have nearly ruined America by electing Bush. Please just research it some!

This is NOT Chinagirl7 this is Sharai, her friend, instead of attacking my friend maybe you should go and check your facts. 1st of all Bush did not ruin America, it was the circumstances that occured during the time he was in office that determined the response many Americans had towards him. Bush does not have anypower to make laws without the consent of the Congress and Senate, so technically it wasn't Bush who as you said "ruined America." If you have something against "religious leaders" go and complain to someone who actually cares, NOT MY FRIEND CHINAGIRL7. Have a great day!

Although I do feel that we should not be in Iraq anymore, we were justified to make a preemptive strike there. Their leaders were avoiding us and acting suspiciously. Whether they're responsible or not, we sent a message to the terrorists that we won't just sit back after a catastrophe like 9/11. Honestly, I'd rather a misunderstanding among two countries (which can be solved over time) than having the chance of someone putting a gun to my head and threatening to kill me unless I start following their religion as I live my life day to day (a scar of trauma that will last forever).

^^ Like I said, don't jump on the wagon to quarrel just because there's an opportunity. Sharai just wants to protect her friend, and your vocabulary is getting rather repetitive. 'Fuck' is not intellectual speech. Don't turn this into political talk anti-Christ talk. Chinagirl asked for Christian presidents. We've already established that that's quite unlikely, because it'll get politicised. Take my advice, pray to the Lord, and thank him for all things, even if it seems impossible. Think of all the times he has helped you in the past, and now know that the future and past is but on the same day for God.

Locking this.

At that point, we were already in Iraq (at least by the time that I got the information about no WMDs) and once they started saying stuff about liberation and such, I knew that it was just all going to get messy from there on. I stopped paying attention to what happened after that and I don't take any sides on what should've happened from that.
