I see where you're going. You don't want us to visit Canada and overstay our visit.

Nope he really is saying that. The wildlife here is vicious, side benefit of having so much untouched wildness. But come, walk the woods, snuggle up to a three thousand year old ceder, wrestle a bear, and spend lots of money in the local shops.

Thanks, Ranwolf. I do plan to visit Canada and see the Aurora Borealis. I've not decided what part of your beautiful country I should go or when the best time to view. Do you have any suggestions?

Canada is one of the few places I want to actually visit, however, the rest of my family insists on always heading southbound to the beach time and time again.

Maybe one day I can venture there myself. It would be more fun and less of a headache that way, anyway.

Well if it's the northern lights you're after I highly recommend Grise Fiorod, Ellesmere Island, Nunavut. It is hell of trip, it is after all the most northern settlement of my homeland. The Northern lights are like nothing else when viewed there in the winter, though you'll need a good pilot to take you then. I also suggest a trip to Yoho National Park here in my home province of B.C. The forests there are simply magnificent as are the numerous lakes. I suggest hitting Yoho Park up in the summer, bring some camping gear with you if you want the real experience.

Thanks! Grise Fiorod seems like a cool place to visit. Essentially its the "Top of the World"! Have you gone yourself? Did you do Floe Edge? Now that looks scary!

Yeah I been to Grise Fiorod three times. If I weren't so busy lately I'd go more often. And yes I've done the whole floe edge thing, only twice admittedly though. Don't fall in though, it may be a spring time activity but that water can still kill.
