So when I was at work I just started to think about something like this for a moment, because when we aren't that productive, or people just fuck up constantly I'll have a moment to myself to think.

In a way there are different kinds of ways to scare yourself, and its actually very interesting to me to see the effects of each.

The typical close calls, lets say you turn your head for a split second and something just comes out of nowhere. Some people legitimately get scared, or they will have a sudden rush that makes their heart drop. Anyone I know has had it happened to them, but I haven't seen someone actually get scared from it, like full out holy shit I am frightened scared, and this is silent, I mean no noise, just something popping up out of nowhere when you are distracted.

A sudden noise. This happens frequently. Lets say you're sitting in a room that you have become comfortable in with no change until suddenly you hear a loud noise that makes you jump, or startle you. I mean in a way you get scared, you are broken from your concentration and in that moment you are scared. Like one of my response's

" Holy shit" or " Jesus!" and most of the time it sends a sudden rush to me, but over time I have become use to it. Living around gunshots, and wildlife.

Someone popping out of nowhere
, or intentionally jumping out at you. Almost different from a close call, these ones create a different reaction, sometimes someone might scream, or want to hit that person doing it not like that, but your body just reacts out of instinct in that moment. Some people might make an awkward grunt, close their eyes, I mean there are so many reactions to getting scared you sometimes forget just how strong of a reaction it gives people.

After that moment some people begin to feel that rush, almost like adrenaline, and in a way it almost makes you feel loose and alive, maybe you want to continue on and find more ways to get scared, like typically walking through a haunted house.

I don't know, maybe getting scared is something we enjoy from time to time, I don't know why, but it feels like an important part of our life. Like people who are afraid to jump in the water even if they can swim, or people who close their eyes when watching something scary, they try to hide it from themselves, when actually enduring it makes you feel better, it makes you feel alive, it's healthy.

Sometimes this feeling just makes our body feel invincible at times, that sudden rush brings us closer to people.

xD I don't know it was on my mind and I had to talk about it.

There are probably many more ways to get scared, but I'll leave that to you, Or are you a big tough guy who doesn't get scared?

To make you feel something, get your heart pumping. Why do people jump out of airplanes?

Well you need to start living then. Being so gloomy.

An easier alternative is to jump into an ice cold shower, try it out.

As I was driving today, I started hydroplaning even though I was driving safely. It always freaks me out, no matter how little bit of a drift my car might do.

Also when I was younger and was driving down this one road on a large hill/small mountain, I was going very quickly, pretending I was Takumi. Completely lost control on a hard left bend and wrecked the front of my car. Did a 360 after bumping the guardrail pretty hard. Oddly enough, I was not particularly scared in the moment, but was instantly worried about how I would explain this to my family and where I would get the money to fix it. It was probably so dangerous that my brain decided fear was useless, even though I could have gone off a cliff and died.

I miss the rush of going fast, but I know better now.

Maji? It's no wonder there are so many emo's out there. I always figured they loved the speed and not being bound by the ground for a little bit.

Gotta go fast!

But I guess we can't replace our body like we can a vehicle

But the feeling is only temporary, I'm not talking eternal fear lol, sometimes we do have moments when we get scared. Feel the rush.
