Let me know if a thread like this one exist or not.
Thanks a bunches.

Do some grandparents spoil their older grandchildren too much? You know how some grandmas and grandpas love babies but their love for babies don't exclude older grandchildren. I think some old people are adorable and the way the LOVE their grandchildren is sweet. Do you have overly loving grandparents? Do they spoil you rotten?

Enjoy!!!

It's not "too much", their love is perfect

My grandparents don't spoil anyone. We get nothing from them, except for $10 on Birthdays & Christmas... despite them owning multiple businesses and being multi millionaire's.

Someone, somewhere. Yes. That said; grandparents are rarely in the position of raising their grandchildren, so it's normally the responsibility of the childrens' actual parents to remedy any notable negative results of said spoiling.

My grandparents spoil me rotten by giving me access to their expensive liquor cabinet. While everyone else is rambling upstairs, I am in the basement enjoying life.

YES. My grandparents loved spoiling me I am waiting on something really nice.

And my mom is very insistent on being a grandparent herself. I already know the spoilage spree she's going to be on. Clothes and toys and money have already been prepared.

I was raised by my grandparents. Though I am "spoilt", I gained a lot of older, stronger values than most, I believe. My work ethic is a strange mix between never wanting to do anything and still getting things done because they need to be done.

The main thing is that they would give me too much food and now I'm overweight and am used to stuffing myself.

In general, I think I was spoilt too much, though. Most grandparents probably spoil their grandkids too much. My grandfather's rule is "if it's a kid, they can have it" within reason, of course.
