So just wondering...since I've been getting this same question over and over again and I don't have an answer.

How do you guys celebrate your birthday?
Do you even celebrate it?
Or, does it feel like just another day to you?

When I was younger, I always had the 400+ guests at my birthdays, which I find stupidly annoying to do now. I don't feel like celebrating but I keep getting party offers and the like.

(And if anyone has suggestions, feel free to come forward.)

Alone.
In my room.
With alcohol.

Never used to, but now I get a big hotel room for my friends and I. We gamble, dance, and party out in Niagara Falls.

No. I was born on December 12. I sometimes celebrate my birthday.

How do you guys celebrate your birthday? I may just go out to eat with my family.

Do you even celebrate it? Not really.

Or, does it feel like just another day to you? I just see it like any other day. I'm not big on parties.

I don't celebrate it. It's just another day to me.

I buy cake and eat it alone.

I don't really do anything special, maybe just buy some alcohol and drink it peacefully.

I am treated like royalty for just one day a year. On that day. Zavin is the winner! I finally win one! Oh yes....in just 20 days Zavin wins.

Hm. I work at my job. Or study for class...

Or when I was a kid spend it in an empty house due to moving Army bases during summer times.

My bday later this month will be spent at my job in the morn and eat dinner with my sister in the evening. My parents will be on a cruise.

400+ guests at your birthday party? Im jealous, i wish I knew that many people to pitch together a huge celebration. If it were up to me it'd be a LAN party or an outing to a concert, fancy restaurant, or what have you. The reality is though that I usually, if Im lucky, get a single friend over and then I usually eat out to an Italian place with good pizza or a Japanese place that does the Benihana thing or showy cooking in front of you with my immediate family - and no, I'm not married, so it's the folks and the bro.

Most of my friends seem to be too busy nowadays for my birthday - dead end jobs, spending the day with that fiance they were supposed to marry 3 years ago after proposing to after a year of dating, stuff like that. Also, my friends turned into real dead beats.

If you ask me, do something you find fun that you dont get to do often, and bring a few close friends, probably the best you can manage.

It's a dreadful day, because people do not leave me alone. My family makes a big deal out of them, and for some reason I did not adopt this practice, so every year on my birthday, I'm bothered to do things in "celebration" of my birthday, when really all I want is a day off to relax and have fun goofing off by myself.

I stopped having birthday parties where I invite people outside of my family when I was 10. Luckily, since I'm older now, a call from non-immediate family is enough to appease them. Then my immediate family will want to take me out to dinner and """""""""surprise""""""""" me with a cake at home some time during the day, even though they all know I hate cake. Now that I think about it, they might do it to bother me on purpose, because that's the kind of family I have.

I get to go eat at Texas Roadhouse, though, so that's nice.
