Why do you think some people hate themselves?

Do you know why some people out there hate themselves but have no problem liking other people? Does it have to do with low self esteem? A series of bullying? What can make a person hate themselves?

Not living up to their own unreasonably high expectations while happening to be the type that does not forgive themselves for their mistakes.

I hate myself because I'm worthless and pathetic no matter how much I try.

I don't have love or a place to belong I'm lucky to even have friends.

I'm barely holding it together right now and I can't cope properly unless I have someone by my side

For those reasons I hate myself and try as I may I can't change those things :P

Don't get me wrong I like my personality etc but I hate myself for being who I am and having needs that can only be filled by relying on others.
But those are the cards I was dealt in life :/

I think you're all just lovely in your own ways. Don't hate yourselves. There are people out there who love you. Me included.

Various reasons a person can hate themselves. I went through a period in 9-10th grade where I hated myself because of the life I was living. It was such a repetitive lifestyle daily back then. The same exact routine gets so boring and high school took up soo much of my time back then

Is bullied by others

Is not successful enough(lack of others giving confidence)
