That, then, is understandable. Pardon the reflex, I've just seen too many forum trolls in various places dropping text and running for the lulz

Hang in there, I get the feeling that the whole story here is buried somewhere behind the details, or at least the key facts.

Besides, all of the names being dropped in the "story" tells me that there's an agenda at work.

Prolifers it looks.

It was up late at night when i posted I've been sleeping and I've been busy doing homework , also to add my two cents . Something is wrong with the picture , things don't add up ,people are saying it's not worth of reporting but no one else is stepping up to explain the situation and I will be completely honest my opinion is biased as what you know as DHR is known as DHS here in Australia

No one legally *can* step up to explain the situation. Thats the thing. The family can make as much noise as they want and claim whatever they want but protective services can't legally turn to the news and drop all the info on a 14 year old rape victim. Any details that get made public will be through any court documents that are open to the public. Otherwise, her confidentiality is protected.

Which is why I find posting her picture ethically dubious and this family/website pushing to make this go viral even more questionable. Especially if the family is, as they claim, left out of the loop and awaiting a court hearing. As that indicates the family itself may have been the cause.

Somehow pregnancy which is a natural part of life is considered courageous. Don't tell me what the author would consider not courageous, I think I have an idea.

I find your opinion equally odious.

Childbirth is a natural occurrence. it is not a miracle, or a gift, or a courageous act. Those who give birth are not heroes simply cause they bear a child.

It is when you believe that your deity chose to imbue a couple of cells with a soul at the moment of conception. Too bad said deity also chose to ignore the rape that was occurring at the time.

If this is for real, then it's pretty obvious why they probably took the baby.

SHE'S 14. She's a baby herself!

I mean, nothing against the girl and her son...that's her choice if she wants to raise the child, but I'd imagine that DHS would put her and this baby in the custody of whomever her legal guardian is.

Also, if this was my daughter, I'd be more focused on finding out prosceuting the father for this rape instead of trying to make this poor girl and her son a pro-life cause.

I took it to mean more that she chose to keep the baby, rather than get an abortion...which probably doesn't even exist in Alabama anyway.

The baby will be replaced with a Synth.
