If you have a lot you want to watch, then yes it's worth it just on the amount of time you'll save alone.

I used to only pay 7 dollar, since I cancelled it and renew on the same day or next, I ending up having to pay 11.95 dollar. >.>

I guess it depends. For me it's worth it because the anime selection in my state has dropped dramatically and i am not subject to watching the same anime over and over on Netflix and Hulu. Being able to watch the anime the same day it's released in Japan is a plus. Some of the anime to get on Blu-Ray or DVD can be expensive and although i'd loved to buy it. It just isn't in my budget so being a premium member of crunchyroll is a great way to watch a lot of anime.

I usually do the $6.95 plan and it pays for itself in the long run as long as you have a few anime titles you are following it's a good investment. Another option is to maybe see if anyone has a 48hr guest pass and try it out that way before you buy it or do the 14 day trial and see if it's a good fit for you.

I think it is a great start for people who would like to support the industry.

Personally, I only bought membership so I could watch Nodame Contabile, I've watch a couple other dramas as well but depending on what gets announced I'll either let my membership lapse or turn on auto renew. This season (spring) anime wise I didn't watch anything beyond a few episodes at the start.

As for supporting the industry, they only deserve your support if you like what they're making.

Nothing is worth the money anime wise when you are making squat at a minimum wage job. I had to dip into my savings to buy a figure a few months ago and even that sucked me down to jack.... sooo... in conclusion, I'm going to remain a questionable watcher from a legality standpoint and not care about the sticklers for legitimacy...

I'm not really saying anything others haven't said already, but it really depends on you.

For me personally, I would say absolutely, because I love HQ video, no ads, supporting the industry, and I watch almost every show every season, and CR usually has about 70% of those, and I value it so much that I would probably cut back on 'luxury' food (i.e. Domino's Pizza) rather than sacrifice my CR subscription if I was pushed for cash.

Having said that, I realise that most people only watch a handful of shows every season, if that, and would value many things above a CR subscription. Also I know that a lot of people don't care about video quality, and if you have bad internet, there's little point in having HQ streams available anyway when you still have to watch SD ones.

If you only watch non-airing things, I would still say yes (I bought mine before I ever started watching airing series), for no ads, HQ video streams etc., but you really just need to consider how much you use CR and how much money you are prepared to put aside for it.

it's a legit way of supporting the anime industry, decide how important that is to you. it's not much, but it's something.

if you're strapped on funds, I would say you could still find a legal way to watch anime.

Such a fucking stupid comment.

That not the reason I say that thought. Everything, where I live, is 11 percent tax. You buy a game and it cost 70 or more. You need groceries well I hope you like noodles. Oh, you need gasoline well I hope you got 50 for barely half the tank. Oh, look a the electric bill, is nearly 300 fucking dollars for 2 people living there. Especially when they barely consume electricity at all.
