It's all personal preference, one isn't really superior to the other. I personally prefer dubs over subs.

Subs of course. I'm used to it since subs are a norm for everything here in Finland and dubs are aimed for kinds who can't read.

Dubs are better if the anime is from the late 80's or early 90's. After that they started taking it too seriously and it stopped being funny so you may as well just go subbed.

I can't handle dubs. Not sure why but it just grates on me.

I prefer subs to dubs because there are so few english VAs and most of their voices bug me.

It's all about preference. Most people I would say prefer subs though

Can't wait for an anime, don't mind maybe awful translations? Subs
Have plenty of time to wait, don't mind maybe awful voice acting? Dubs

_pick_

Long time ago in the 50s they (Finnish Broadcasting Company) decided that to do subbing instead of dubbing mainly because it's cheaper and technically easier to do.

I'm glad they decided to do that since that way you are exposed to other languages too. Also it's a good thing for those who do not speak Finnish - original voices and language are not ruined and one cool thing about DVB-T is that you can turn subtitles off (some channels burn them in image though, YLE doesn't though).
