I watch both so I don't put one over the other.

I'm moving this over to the Anime section. You might also be interested in some of the other recent threads that discuss dubs, as they will likely cover much of the same ground even though started with a more specific point for discussion:

Within the past year ive been leaning towards subs just because thats whats available first so I get use to the voices. I do still enjoy dubs though and will only watch certain series' that way.

for the bazillion times: neither. It's a matter of preferences above all else.

American and Japanese actors have different ideas of how to do things, so I find it unfair to say one is inherently superior to the other.

Depends. subs have much better voice acting most of the time (there are always exceptions, Dragon Ball Z, Yu Yu Hakusho, lots of 90's anime, etc.), but If you don't really feel like reading subtitles and wan't to focus on the visuals, dubs are the better option. Personally prefer subs

You are on the wrong website for that.

I'm only here for One Piece, Ace of the Diamond, and Wagnaria.

Out of my ~220 watched series, 60-something have been dubbed.

Of those, only 18 had better dubs than subs.

Which is better subtitle anime or dub anime?

My preference is sub. In the past when I first was into anime, dubs were what I watch. Now it is only subs unless it has already been dub. Although I like FUNimation voice actors and their support for Anime conventions, sometimes the voice actor takes away from the series. I don't like how dub script writers change the story line to match the culture where it is being dub. But what I dislike most is using Hollywood actors in Anime instead of using existing anime voice actors. That's like taking candy from a baby for yourself. Not cool in my book although I (might) understand why it might be done.

I'm still relatively new to anime, but it seems the vast majority of anime never have dubbed versions released (understandable considering all the extra work required for it), so I prefer watching with subbed.
Besides, it feels like it'll most closely provide the intended 'feel' of the words, rather than dubbed versions, which also try to make the English voice fit into the mouth flaps.

After awhile, you really don't notice a difference when watching subs. It just becomes part of the show.
However, if you watch with subs, and then try watching the same show dubbed, you're most likely going to have a strong negative reaction, since "all the characters sound wrong", since your brain has already adjusted to how certain characters sound. (at least that's my personal experience).

Mostly subs due to availability, quality, etc. I like some dubs though.

Only Cowboy Bebop and Trigun are worth watching dub. Everything else sub

Subtitles only. When English is dubbed, they sound very painful to hear. And usually very high pitched, for no real reason.
