I think I'm 'center leaning towards liberal', and boy do I not like ultra conservatives, but I'm starting to see that ultra liberals are very bad, too.

I'd like to go back to school someday. Maybe a tech institute, maybe a community college...but man, I don't look forward to the ultra liberals and SJWs. Especially the SJWs. Bunch of schmucks that think they have all the answers but are really very naive and are not fair and balanced in their views, not even close to that. I support combating ignorance and promoting better rights and treatments for many groups of people who are not well privileged, but extremism is never good, and I agree with promoting tolerance, but SJWs want better rights, treatment, and tolerance of certain kinds of people without being tolerant themselves to other certain kinds of people.

No need to worry about ISIS, Russia, China or North Korea. America's own citizens will bring that country to its knees. And they'll let them too because evidently nothing is worse than being called racist or sexist to them.

this is already like several months old, and since the actual petition is talking about having it in effect by spring 2016, it's safe to assume it's not happening anymore (not that it ever actually would have). it only got 616 signatures, and since literally anyone can sign that doesn't say much, especially since a lot of people probably signed it as a joke

this reads like one of the most heavy-handed parodies of "sjws" (by the kind of person who would unironically use that term) i've ever seen. i can't even say for sure that that's NOT what it is - i don't really feel like thoroughly researching it to find out or anything. but even if not, all it would have taken is like a few people who thought this was actually a good and realistic idea - as someone who spends most of my time on tumblr, the kinds of people who would take something this over-the-top seriously are a lot rarer than you seem to think

like . . . if you want to believe this is an accurate representation of how bad the "sjws" in colleges have gotten because it fits your narrative, go ahead, but i'm just saying this probably shouldn't be taken seriously at all

This is basically what I was going to write, thanks for doing it for me

1. Wat.

2. 616 signatures at least half or more of which are just to make fun of the petition.

3. This place has 15,060 students.

The only narrative this pushes is that some college students are unrealistic idiots. >.>

It's really hard for me to believe that people like this actually exist in real life. I've never come into contact with anyone this mind numbingly liberal. Hopefully, I never will because by the looks of it I'll lose 85% of my brain cells.

Or (assuming that it's the least bit true), that every college student in the world wants to Try Out his new millennialism.

Let's put it this way: After a first few test posts, how many found the GD board, and wanted their first thread to be "Should we wipe all religion from the planet?"
It's addictive, isn't it, the illusion of "power" when all you have is hormones, a Facebook/Twitter page, and no parents?
Heck, I just got Twitter, for work, and already found myself trying to start a hashtag campaign for my favorite cause. Yeah, go ahead and snicker, but you probably had yours.

As I was reading this the only thing which crossed my mind was "Is this the plot to some anime??? It sounds like the plot to some Anime. Even the naming of the new buildings and the power they would be given sounds like something out of an anime."

Did anyone else think that? Because... well.... damn! This just clicks so many boxes for me of "Potential Anime plot"

Mercifully, Geocities was the extent of social media when I was in high school. I managed to get out before the advent of Facebook, camera phones and Youtube. So none of the awkwardness or stupidity of being a teenager was documented for all time to the entire world. >.>
