Something I really enjoy about the Crunchyroll experience is reading the comments. Other sites like Hulu and Netflix just don't have the same feel of it, even though Hulu does allow comments. Crunchyroll does a much better job of making the comments part of the experience because of the way the episode pages are designed and the fact that the commenting community is much better.

There are times though when people mark a comment as "Spoiler", and it's not clear whether the spoiler has to do with what happens in the episode, or if someone wants to reference what happens in the manga later in the story. It's a problem pretty unique to the anime industry, since anime are so often based on a manga counterpart, and anime usually try to stick close to the manga, even if they sometimes change details. I just think it would be nice to have the option of noting what kind of spoiler the comment has. That way, I could enjoy more comments after watching the episode, without worrying about getting the watching experience "spoiled" by already knowing what's probably going to happen in future episodes.

I dont disagree with the idea but on other anime blog Sites the spoiler is used for both .

And that I think a spoiler is just that whether it be the manga speculation etc. I try to put in extra warning myself.

I think comparing a current episode minor differences is not bad though.

It is when you talk about future material shopuld be spoiled

Yeah, I think it's kind of silly to apply "spoiler" to what happens in the current episode, but that seems to be how it is usually used. After watching the episode, I'll check out the comments, and usually check the "spoiler" ones because they're usually just episode spoilers. But once in a while somebody talks about what's going to happen later as revealed in the manga, and that's sooo annoying.
