Would love any suggestions you have for anime you think I would like. Other than Crunchyroll, I have access to Amazon Prime and Netflix.

My favorites, historically, have been the standard types where the main character(s) have or discover powers, and over the course of the series learn new abilities or improve in other ways. Yes, that sounds pretty cliche, but I'll go over thoughts on individual series.

Naruto/Naruto Shippuden: Okay, my favorite fight might still be from the original series, Rock Lee vs. Gaara in the exam, though the Naruto vs. Pain fight was also incredible. Okay, probably better, but still...that Rock Lee fight was amazing. That said, character progression with abilities is nice, but there's way too much filler for me, and I lost interest over time.

Bleach: Loved the first story arc (even my wife did!), and even moving into the next arc with the masks, but again, too much filler.

One Piece: Maybe this one is just a bit too silly for me. Entertaining, sure, but so many episodes that don't mean that much individually.

Rurouni Kenshin: Loved this one...didn't end up being way too long. Was actually the first series I watched, many years ago.

Hunter X Hunter (new version): Was definitely long, but was awesome. One of my favorites.

Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood: Still making it through this one.

Claymore: Love how dark it was. Nice and short too, leaving no room for filler.

Kabaneri (Amazon Prime): On episode 8 right now...this one's been amazing so far.

Attack on Titan: Dark, liked it a lot overall.

Other anime I've enjoyed that don't fit the normal action/fight mold:

-Prince of Tennis
-Hikaru no Go
-Haikyu!
-Ace of the Diamond (though it feels a bit slow at times)
-Yakitate!! Japan (weird... for me)
-Kotoura-San
-Peace Maker Kurogane

Anyway, any suggestions you have would be appreciated!

JoJo's Bizarre Adventure
Kill la Kill
Gurren Lagann
Berserk

Those are the best options for you in my opinion. If you liked Claymore you'll adore Berserk.

If you like Haikyu! you might like Kuroko No Basuke. It's a similar genre of sports anime!

Gintama seems a bit long, but I read some peoples' reviews, and it seems worth checking out. I'd heard about it before, but never really looked into it.

JoJo's is another I've heard of, of course, but again never looked into it. Just looking at the intro pic, I'd generally be turned off, but man...just gotta give it a chance. Added it to the queue.

Heard of Kill la Kill also, and it's short enough.

With regard to Berserk, where might I find that? I'm seeing also a new series of Berzerk is coming out this year?

Thanks very much for the responses!

Spice and Wolf for something different,

Black Cat has a fair bit of action in it,
